01 About this portal

This Recruitment Portal is the official platform for the submission of job applications to the Kenya Space Agency. All applications must be submitted through this portal within the stipulated timelines. Applications submitted through any other means shall not be considered.

02 How recruitment works

The recruitment process consists of six stages, as outlined below. Applicants are required to take action only at the stages marked You.

  1. 01Kenya Space Agency The advert is published Vacancies are published on the local dailies, on our website, and on this recruitment portal. Each advertisement specifies the vacancy, KSA Grade, number of posts, terms of service, the job and person specifications, and the closing date.
  2. 02You Create an Account Register using your National ID details, email address, mobile number, and password. You must complete all mandatory fields in your profile before you can apply for any position.
  3. 03You Application Deadline Applications must be submitted on or before 11:59 pm (23:59 hrs) EAT of the stated closing date. Late submissions will not be considered.
  4. 04Kenya Space Agency Shortlisting Eligible applicants are shortlisted based on the vacancy requirements.
  5. 05Kenya Space Agency Interview Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
  6. 06Kenya Space Agency Application Status Track the outcome of your application through the portal. Successful candidates will be required to fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya and present the following documents:
    1. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
    2. Compliance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
    3. Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
    4. Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

03 Notices and Disclaimers

The following notices apply to all advertised positions and applications. Applicants are advised to read them before applying.

KSA charges no fee at any stage

There is no charge for creating an account, applying, being shortlisted, attending an interview or being appointed. The Agency will never ask you for money, and no officer or agent is authorised to do so on its behalf.

If anyone asks you for payment in connection with recruitment at KSA, do not pay. Report it to recruitment@ksa.go.ke.

Canvassing leads to automatic disqualification

Canvassing for employment, whether directly or through third parties, is strictly prohibited and shall result in automatic disqualification.

Incorrect information is an offence

Give every detail the advert asks for, and give it accurately. It is an offence to include incorrect information in an application.

Do not list academic or professional certificates you will not have obtained by the date the advert closes.

Presenting a forged certificate or document is a criminal offence and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Shortlisted candidates must produce originals

Shortlisted candidates shall be required to present original National Identity Cards, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during the interview process.

Candidates will be contacted at various stages of the process where applicable. All communication shall be from recruitment@ksa.go.ke.

Kenya Space Agency (KSA) does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.

Applicants are advised to:

  • Never share their password or personal login details with anyone.
  • Be cautious of individuals requesting payments through M-Pesa, bank transfers, or any other means in relation to recruitment.
  • Any suspected recruitment fraud or requests for payment should be reported to recruitment@ksa.go.ke.
